Antiquated systems have added to U.S. airport safety issues
past due for upgrades
near-midair collisions per week
of ATC facilities met staffing goals
runway incursions everyday
AI assisted interventions can turn things around
Detect anomalies early with real-time alerts

“Having AI to monitor uncontrolled fields and be able to actually activate a response is beautiful.”
— Captain Scott Miller • American Airlines

Software
Intuitive
and tested interface
Our AI system is tested by active aviation directors and FAA members to understand optimal workflows and procedures

AI-Powered ATC Transcription
Stratus transcribes every radio call in real time using aviation-tuned speech models. Search by callsign, frequency, or keyword. No more scrubbing audio. Gain instant visibility into comms, even at untowered fields.

Intelligent Emergency Detection & Dispatch
Our AI continuously monitors audio and flight data for signs of distress, conflict, or abnormal behavior. When seconds count, Stratus instantly flags anomalies and triggers smart dispatch workflows to keep everyone informed.

Airspace Violation Detection
Stratus monitors flights against real-time airspace data: TFRs, restricted zones, Bravo shelves, and more. Get instant alerts when an aircraft approaches or enters controlled airspace without clearance.

Searchable Event & Comms Archive
Stratus is a black box for your airport that logs every transmission, event, and alert in real time. Instantly search by callsign, time, or keyword to reconstruct any moment, without the rewind. Total recall, zero guesswork.

About
Mizan’s journey in aviation and artificial intelligence began early. By age 10, he was coding in multiple programming languages and soon after debuted his “Age Guessing Bot” to thousands at Maker Faire Bay Area. At 13, he took his first flight in a glider, and by 17, became one of the youngest licensed pilots in the U.S. (2024).
His latest venture, Stratus AI, was birthed shortly after his collegiate award-winning research on AI-augmented search and rescue (SAR) missions. In 2025, Mizan won several prestigious AI competitions, including those hosted by UC Berkeley, UC Davis, AGI House, Github, and Nvidia.
Today, he leads Stratus AI, working with a small network of experts across multiple domains. Recently he was awarded a resolution in California government for his contributions to aviation safety.
